Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: email, optional name, and a hashed password.
• Usage data: your prompts, uploaded reference images, generated results, and your credit history.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status and amount, not your card number.
• Anti-abuse data: a random device identifier stored in a cookie and a one-way (salted) hash of your IP address at signup. We don't store your raw IP address with your account.

How we use it

• To run the service: generate content, keep your gallery, and manage your balance.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, including limiting free credit to one per person.
• To answer support requests and send essential account emails.

Who we share it with

• AI model providers (for example fal.ai and WaveSpeed) receive your prompt and any reference image, only to produce your result.
• Stripe for payments; Cloudflare for file storage and delivery; our hosting provider for servers.
• Authorities, if required by law.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in, a device cookie for anti-abuse, and a referral cookie when you arrive through a friend's invite link. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Retention

We keep your account data while your account is open. Generated files may be deleted after a period of inactivity. Transaction records are kept as required for accounting.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements (Canada's PIPEDA and other applicable laws). Email support@catreel.com.

Children

The service is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
